Support Suites

“A unique option, blending hospitality and health care”

Touchmark’s Support Suites™ help people live independently with just the support they need. This level of service is more than independent living but not residential care (assisted living).

Features include:

• Terrace Lodge homes with full kitchens; some furnished.
• Flexible services available through a scheduled caregiver from Touchmark’s licensed on-site Home Services agency.
• Services and amenities of independent living, such as 30 or 60 meals per month, utilities and basic cable TV, housekeeping twice a month, and home maintenance.
• A full menu of optional Home Services:
• Home Care (bathing, personal grooming, dressing, exercise program, meal preparation, laundry, etc.
• Touchmark’s national award-winning Life Enrichment/Wellness program.

According to Central Oregon resident Sonja Donohue, Touchmark’s Support Suites made a world of difference for her parents, Dr. John and Solveig Ross.

“The Suites were instrumental in making a seamless transition for my parents,” says Donohue. “They are well-appointed, and the services are incredible. With just a bit of regular support, my parents are able to live independently, which is what they want. My dad now is thriving, and he loves it. And my mom is doing well, too.”

Donohue is grateful for the help and peace of mind that she and her brother and two sisters have received. “From day one, we felt like part of a big family. Everyone is so helpful, and we know that our parents are being well cared for,” she says.

And if people’s needs increase, other services are available. That way, they are less likely to have to move from the community, where they have established important connections with residents and staff.
