Bend Oregon Respite Care Rest and Recovery Care

As part of our Assisted Living Program, many Touchmark communities offer Respite Care/Recovery Care. Many active adults find our services — from a single week to several months — the perfect solution after hospitalization. Respite Care also enables family caregivers to go on vacation knowing their loved ones feel safe and are in good hands, and it gives active adults the opportunity to try us out.

Physicians, social workers, family members, and friends have recommended Respite Care/Recovery Care for a variety of circumstances:

• Prior to returning home from major surgery
• Post same-day surgery
• Pre-admission stay prior to hospitalization
• Dialysis patients
• Oncology patients

All suites in our Respite/Recovery Care are fully furnished. Three meals a day, transportation, and the full benefit of Touchmark's flexible Levels of Care program are also offered.

Most of our communities are able to provide personal assistance with activities of daily living based on individual needs.

Respite & Recovery Care Services are Available For:

• Personal care/hygiene assistance
• Occupational health recovery
• Assistance with pain management
• Escort assistance wheelchair/walker
• Assistance and coordination of Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies
• Mild to moderate dementia care
• Diet management
• Medication management

Services and amenities are available to recovery residents. There are no limits on length of stay.
